Are you walking the walk?

Some months ago, my next-door neighbor was having their garage door repaired. What showed up to help them was quite simply the most beautiful custom-wrapped van I’d ever seen. It was covered from roof to underbelly with an eye-catching design that showcased their logo and clearly communicated what they do (install and repair garage doors!).

I can tell you one thing: should I ever have any issues with my own garage door, I know who I’ll be using (provided their online reviews check out). And why? Because the way I see it, any company that takes the time and effort to create not just a beautiful logo for their business, but the vans to match, I’m guessing also takes the time to do a stellar job for their customers.

In short? It shows they care.

So today, dear readers, I ask you this: are you walking the walk? In other words, are you taking the time to care for your own business in the same way you care for your customers? Because trust me, when you do, your customers notice.

Walking the walk looks like having a logo that’s professionally designed and clearly communicates what you do. It looks like having a professional email address (i.e. not a Gmail address) with which you communicate with customers. It looks like having a website that’s made by a pro and creates a compelling, intuitive user experience 🤗 (And by the way, if you need help with any of those things, do get in touch!)

Whatever you do, don’t fool yourself into thinking that taking the time to care for your own business isn’t worth the effort or investment – because it is. Every time.
