End of the Year Reflection Questions: Let’s Take a Moment

Have you begun to hear that little voice telling you to come up with some kind of grand plan for 2021? How you’re going to live, do, or be better?

Well, if I may, before we dive into all the resolutions and goals and dreams and schemes…

…let’s take a moment.

Let’s take a moment to recognize (amidst all the obvious strangeness) what was truly GOOD this year.

What went well?
What did you accomplish?
What are you most proud of?
What brought you the most joy?

If you’re anything like me, then around this time of year you might find yourself busier than ever, trying to wrap up (pun intended) everything before the holiday break and also looking ahead to plans for the new year.

But I hope you’ll join me in taking just five minutes out of your day to write down your 5-10 favorite memories from 2020. For each memory, jot down your answers to the following end of the year reflection questions:

  • What stands out most in your mind about this memory?
  • Why does this memory bring you joy?
  • What did you learn or gain from this experience?
  • What, if anything, does this memory spark in you to want to bring into the new year?

You’ll be SO glad you did.

Wishing you a warm and joyous year’s end, and I’ll see you in 2021!
