Here are three little happy stories from Ellanyze on a cold winter’s day.
As this pandemic winter settles in, there have been some low moments and some tough days for sure. But amidst all the turmoil and uncertainty, I’ve experienced an undeniably wonderful saving grace: my clients.
Every day they inspire me, make me smile and laugh, allow me to feel connected to the world outside of my little home office, and give my days fulfillment, purpose, and meaning.
And while I wish I could squeeze every website I’ve designed in the past six months into this little blog post, I forced myself to limit it to just a few.
So today I hope you’ll enjoy these three happy little stories.
Bridgeport Consulting LLC | Ann Arbor, MI
A small and mighty team can change the world.
After working in local government for a decade, Kerry Sheldon decided to start her own consulting practice and now 10 years later has assembled a team of five highly skilled women who together have worked with everyone from The Univ. of Michigan and Cornell Univ. to ACLU and Habitat for Humanity. They are experts in strategic planning, group facilitation, organizational change, and public engagement. It was a delight working with Kerry, and if you appreciate singular brilliance, mighty women, or just the color blue, I encourage you to check out their new website. Thank you, Kerry!
L.A. Writers’ Lab | Los Angeles, CA
Changing writers’ careers 90 days at a time.
In 1998, Alan Watt was invited, sort of by accident, to teach a summer screenwriting class at UCLA, and discovered that he absolutely loved teaching. After publishing a book in 2010 called The 90-Day Novel (a totally unique writing process involving making a contract with your subconscious), Al began to receive emails from writers all over the world asking him if he offered online classes. And so, L.A. Writers’ Lab was born. Fast forward to today, and Al has worked with countless students of all levels, many of whom have gone on to become international bestselling authors. If you’ve long felt you have a novel inside of you (or a memoir or screenplay) but have always felt stuck, Al’s 90-Day workshop could turn everything around for you. Check out his new website here. Thank you, Al!
Christine Marie Heath | East Coast
A burst of color, vibrancy, and talent!
Often when a client comes to me wanting to collaborate on a website design, it’s because something has shifted for them and they want a new website that’s fully aligned with their current work and passions. This was just the case for Christine Marie Heath, an incredibly versatile vocalist and actress who has performed all over the country and the world in a variety of roles including Evan Peron in Evita, Carrie in Carousel, and countless others. Christine has found a new passion in teaching students at the university level, and I loved working with her on a website that would reflect this, as well as her colorful and vibrant personality. I encourage you to check out Christine’s new website here and make sure to visit all the pages because each one changes color! Thank you, Christine!
